Workiro helps you track and manage your communication with clients... You can use it on your own, but its real power is unlocked when you use it with others.
Types of connection
Adding people to Workiro
To add somebody to Workiro, select the + icon in the top right corner of the connections screen and select Person.
Add the details of someone you do work with or for, like a client or supplier (adding a team member is a separate process). Their email address is optional at this stage, but will be required later if you want to include them on threads (tasks, notes, signatures) in the app. Your connections do not need a Workiro account.
Use the 'Import addresses...' button to easily import contacts from various sources. If you are using one of our mobile apps, you can add people from the contacts list on your device.
Use the 'Relationships' control to categorise your connection
Hit 'Add' and you're done.
⚠️ Note: email addresses are considered unique identifiers in Workiro. This is important for many reasons.
- Data reliability and integrity
- Legal validity of signatures with clear and accurate audit trails
- Regulatory compliance, where protection and proper management of personal data is mandated
- Improved integration with systems such as CRM, email marketing and other tools which rely on unique email addresses
Using Workiro with Organizations
Adding an organization is covered in a separate guide.
Creating a team in Workiro
As a team owner you can invite people to become members of your team
Your connections
Once you've added connections, you can navigate to them via the connections tab
Your Connections area will also act as a team Directory. This include all of your own connections and those added by your team members, so a connection only ever needs to be added to Workiro once and it's available to the whole team.
💡 If you do not wish to see certain connections displayed in the directrory, you can hide connections from view.
Want to give it a go, but don't know where to start?
Here are some helpful tips:
- Add someone you work with or do things with regularly - a teammate, favourite customer or contractor, or even a friend or partner.
- Send them a task with the title 'Give me an opinion on this new app'.
- Use Workiro together instead of email, chat or social media and see how you get on.
