Workiro is fantastic for making sure that you and others don't forget any tasks or things you need, and for keeping people accountable.
However, if you sometimes feel like you're getting a few too many Workiro email notifications and reminders, and you're thinking 'I know, I know' and you're already aware, you can...
Suppress notifications in two easy ways
1. Install and use the desktop app - when in active use, you won't receive email notifications. You'll be able to see the updates live in the Catch-up area and you'll get desktop push notifications instead. Going away and don't want to miss out? simply quit the app and emails will resume 24 hours later.
2. Install and use the mobile app - emails are replaced by the notifications sent to your device
For iOS:
The latest Workiro iOS mobile app is available for download on the Apple App Store.
For Android:
The Workiro Android mobile app is also available for download on the Google Play Store.
3. Pause tasks until you're ready to be notified again, especially if it's something that can't be done right away.
You'll then only be reminded from the specific date and time you choose.
Pausing allows you to focus on a shorter, more realistic and immediate to-do list as well as manages everyone's expectations as to when something will happen - rather than keeping things in your active to-do list for days.
This way, you'll still get the Workiro notifications you need, but when you really need them!
