Workiro Scan is a Windows application that can be used to scan documents via locally installed TWAIN compatible scanners, to then upload to Workiro - Please contact us to get this set up.
Using Workiro Scan
When running Workiro Scan, the following window will be displayed:
The Scanners available in the "Scanner" drop-down are detected by Workiro Scan when the program is launched by searching for any TWAIN compatible scanner drivers on the workstation.
Scanning options can be altered before each scan, the last used settings are retained for next use.
The File, Image, Scanner and Blank pages options all expand to display additional advanced options if required:
- File
- File type
- File compression
- Image
- Alternating rotation
- Rotation angle
- Brightness
- Contrast
- Straighten
- Crop
- Scanner
- Paper size
- Media type
- Feeder type
- Scan delivery mode
- Show scanner user interface
- Blank pages
- Suppress blank pages
- Blank page threshold
- Ignore hole punches
After a Scan has been performed, you are then able to:
- Upload the scan to Workiro
- Append additional pages to the existing document currently displayed in the viewer
- Perform a New Scan, discarding the existing document
Uploading to Workiro
When choosing to Upload via Workiro Scan, one of the following actions will be performed:
- If the Workiro Desktop App is installed, the Scanned Document will be uploaded via the app
- If the Workiro Desktop App is not installed, the Scanned Document will be uploaded via the Default Web Browser
Any authentication with regards to Workiro will be dealt with via the Desktop app / Web Browser
