As you and your team work together in Workiro, you’ll create an extensive archive of connections, threads, documents and projects that is accessible using a powerful search engine.
In this guide:
Start a global search
- Click on the search field at the top of the Workiro side panel.
- Type what you’re looking for using keywords, partial words, phrases or names.
- Connections (search by name or email)
- Threads (search by title)
- Comments (search by thread comments)
- Documents (search by title and document content)
- Projects (search by title)
The top four results are displayed in each category, with the number of results displayed together with onward navigation.

Documents can be retrieved by title and content.
Refine your results with filters and groups
You can further refine your results, for example, grouping documents by Relevance, Date, Kind or Tag.
Or using powerful filters including Added By..., Tags, Untagged, Details Required, and Dates.
You can apply tag filters, selecting from those that are relevant to your results set.
When using date filters, you can select from a preset timespan or apply a date range, you can also choose which type of date to filter on.

Searching by connection
As a powerful alternative to searching globally you can easily find threads, documents and projects by navigating to any connection you or your team are working with.
Choose the content type you are looking for. You can group documents by Date, Kind or Tag, apply filters (Tags, Dates, Uploaded by...), and filter by keywords in the document title.
The ability to quickly retrieve content in Workiro is made easy when you categorise the work you do as you go along.
