Apple MacOS Automator

A powerful variety of integrations can be enabled for MacOS leveraging the built-in 'Automator' functionality, AppleScript and the Workiro Hyperlink API.

These automations require the Workiro desktop application to be installed and running.

Print Plugin

The print plugin enables a 'Save to Workiro' option on the print menu. Select this option to convert the current document to a PDF and open the save dialogue in Workiro.

Finder Quick Action

Enable a 'Save to Workiro' quick action on all documents in the finder menu. Select this option to save the document to Workiro, opening the save dialogue.

This action can only be used on individual documents.

Folder Action

Enable a 'Save to Workiro' folder action so that any document saved into a 'Workiro' watch folder will automatically open the Workiro document save dialogue.

Installation

Download and extract the WorkiroMacOSAutomator.Zip file attached to this support guide. To install each automation on your machine double click on the individual file and follow the instructions. 

For the folder action, create a Workiro watch folder before you install the automation.
